Crossroads Of Manifestation: Sometimes They Don't Work.

The Crossroads of Manifestation: Sometimes They Don't Work.

A little about how manifestations and why, sometimes, they don't give results.

 Hey,

If you're here from my blog or just stumbled across this post, welcome back to The Crossroads of Manifestation—a little reflective corner I created to talk about all things thoughts, feelings, energy, and that weird space where they all meet. Today’s piece is a bit raw, because… well, not every chapter of this journey is magical or aesthetic. Sometimes, it’s just messy.

There are days when manifestations feel like a lie. You try everything, stay consistent, meditate, but it just doesn’t work. Nothing changes the way you want it to.

Let me give a personal example. Recently, I’ve been feeling quite demotivated due to many factors happening around me. This has led to constant irritation and a lack of creativity. I wanted (still do) some things to happen for me, and I’ve been trying to manifest and/or pray for the same for quite a while now. When I started thinking it was slowly working out for me, something occurred that brought me back to square one. A ton of external factors that weren’t even directly related to that issue also didn’t work out, which led to the feeling of giving up—which I did.

I absolutely hate it, but the truth is, you can’t force the universe to make things happen your way. Manifestation is about putting your trust and faith in the universe to make things happen for you. That also means trusting the universe to know what’s best for you. My grandfather reminded me of that today (thank you Nanaji, you’re my pillar of strength).

We expect things to work out exactly the way we imagined them, and while there’s no harm in that, the universe knows what’s truly best for you. By this, I don’t mean you should give up on what you want just because you’re facing some trouble. If you believe in what you want to achieve, the universe might not serve it to you on a silver platter, but it might teach you through some paths that you need to go through.

Sometimes, things that don’t even feel practical end up happening... but with time. Patience is so important when it comes to this. Believe me, I know it’s easier said than done. It’s very difficult for me to continue my faith too. But I also try to bring myself back to this center within me, where I remember the times I actually did make things happen for myself. The irritation, the lack of patience, it’s all totally understandable. And I’m not trying to say anything or be some guru telling you “it’ll all work out.” I’m writing this to say that sometimes things don’t go our way, we don’t always get everything we want, and there’s nothing we can do about it except feel those feelings, give ourselves a break, and come back stronger with trust and hard work.

I know I’ve got this, even when I feel like I don’t.
And I know you’ve got this too.

Thanks for being here.
With you, always—
Shivika 🤍
